This project involved cleaning the front and back concrete walkways at a home in Opelika, AL. The walkways had accumulated dirt, organic growth, and general surface staining over time.
We began by pretreating the concrete with a sodium hypochlorite solution to break down the organic buildup and prepare the surface for cleaning. After the pretreatment had time to work, we used a professional surface cleaner to wash the walkways thoroughly. Once the main cleaning was complete, we detailed the edges with a wand to ensure an even, uniform finish across the entire surface.
To finalize the job, we performed a thorough rinse and applied a post-treatment to brighten the concrete and prevent future tiger-striping or uneven drying. The result was a noticeably cleaner and refreshed appearance that significantly improved the home's overall curb appeal.
